Evolution debate stirred by Rev Huxford in Vindicator
Rev W F Huxford writes on Evolution in this week’s Vindicator arguing history of science humbles religion while noting progress reshapes society. He questions whether humanity seeks truth or merely defends its version and cites Dayton Scopes case, Pilgrim Fathers, Luther and Galileo era tensions. He remains uncertain about evolution, citing growing evidence of an older civilization and vast cosmos.
