Estherville Iowa August 6 1923 regular council meeting adjourned due to lack of quorum. August 8 1923 adjourned session with Mayor Lilley presiding. resolution for street electroliers approved and bids to paint water tank authorized. Bills listed from many departments. Deputy City Clerk resignation accepted and new deputy chosen. September 10 meeting set for tax levies. Also Iowa bans South Dakota cattle shipments to prevent anthrax spread.
