Editor Nichols Weekly Letter from Baboon Park Florida
The piece blends secular and religious reflection on Good Friday with local notes from Florida in April 1935. It quotes a meditation on Calvary and Resurrection, then pivots to state politics, mentioning a failed anti chain-store bill by Senator Tillman, a Kansas-like odor story, and spring tourism data. It also notes Bok Tower carillon concerts end, New York Times prosperity notes, Huey Long political cautions, weather mild with frost nearby, and Florida's pension legality contrast with a hog appropriation.
