County Board Proceedings April 1 1929 Emmet County
Regular meeting of the Emmet County Board of Supervisors adjourned for lack of quorum and resumed April 2 1929 with full membership. The board reduced Mrs Ethel McClune’s monthly maintenance for five children from 60 to 48 dollars and ordered warrants for Bert Olson 30 dollars monthly starting April 2 1929. A report on Secondary Road No 4 was approved and advertisement ordered for establishment with May 3 1929 hearing. John Katham tax overpayment of 6 48 refunded. Several tax suspensions for elderly owners. A soldiers exemption for Mrs Morrissey rejected. Weed destruction resolution approved with detailed schedules and penalties. Notices to cut weeds ordered to all property owners. County fund and various department expenditures listed. Adjourned to April 17 1929. Dorothy Klopp County Auditor.
