Emmet County Board Proceedings 1918 Actions and Bids
The April 1918 Emmet County Board convened with full membership and approved ditch clearing to original grade on open ditch No 3h, appointed engineers for preliminary surveys, set bonds for petitions, confirmed road petitions, awarded multiple contracts including D D No 65 and D D No 99 related work, reduced Joint D D No 2 levy, and adjourned to continue hearings. The minutes list bids from Linnan & Clancy Co, Jenas Jensen, Lehigh Sewer Pipe Co, Lorenz, Front & Peterson, Jacob Jacobson, Arthur McHosee, Camden, Cement Product Co, Oraettinger Tile Co, and others with awards to Camden and Linnan & Claney. Also noted H M Lambert donation terms for Brown Creek bridge alignment and various administrative expenditures.
