Sheepmen urge changes to stabilize wool industry in Columbus
Representatives from wool grower groups and state and federal bodies met in Columbus on March 6 to push reforms. They urge better market organization, labeling reforms, a wool market news service, and higher funding for state agricultural colleges. They warn current stocks are not alarming and call for fair distribution of surplus to fleece states and classified wool exhibits.
