Red Hawk Casino near completion at Shingle Springs
Representatives from the Red Hawk Casino spoke at the Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce luncheon on June 4 detailing progress at the Shingle Springs Rancheria project. Construction is 70 to 75 percent complete with a two story gaming floor, 2,000 slots, 75 table games, and an eight story parking structure for 3,500 spaces. The plan includes a training center, six restaurant concepts, a kids area, and staffing of about 1,750. The casino aims to open in late 2008 after a settlement with El Dorado County.
