Reindeer vandalism prompts display removal in El Dorado Hills
In El Dorado Hills, eight to nine wire reindeers on Mike Root’s lawn were moved twice and rearranged in what was described as R rated poses. The incident occurred a week before Christmas and on December 23. Root removed the reindeers but left other decorations, noting the vandalism has recurred nearly yearly and neighbors often leave appreciation notes. Sheriff Lt Tom Meslach urged reporting to spot patterns and protect neighborhoods.
