Inmate Run Bike Refurbish Program At Folsom Prison
Children’s bicycles are collected year round at Folsom Prison for refurbishing by minimum security inmates. Bikes are tested by hand and test ridden to ensure safety. Warden Mike Evans calls it a community service that fosters a sense of belonging and second chances, with donation details provided.
