Latrobe Pot Bust Ties Grow Sites Across Counties
An El Dorado County led operation dubbed Operation Lunchman seized 1,700 Latrobe plants and 15 pounds of marijuana plus 1,600 plants at Lake Clementine. Three pounds of meth and firearms were recovered as federal indictments loom for marijuana cultivation and trafficking. Investigators credited an undercover agent for linking sites in Latrobe Stockton Stanislaus County and Lake Clementine with MAVMIT and state federal partners. Timothy Giorgi said detectives coordinated weekly with El Dorado detectives and that Latrobe was the operation hub.
