Wilcox, a Denton College of Industrial Arts graduate, has two years of school work experience in Texas and will begin duties around October 1 in Vernon. M iss Maddox will move to Weatherford then Baton Rouge. The district YWCA leaders discussed French war work and the Hotel Petrograd in Paris where American women volunteers support Red Cross and canteen services for soldiers and workers behind the front.
The local Baptist Sunday School combines promotion day and rally day with both programs Sunday. An invitation to Pastor WAT. Rouse to preach the dedication sermon at the new Odell Baptist Church caused no change of plans. Friday will announce the Sunday program.
