Sealed proposals to improve Wilbarger County highways in Texas will be received by the County Auditor in Merion until 10 o clock a m November 27 1928 and opened publicly. Work covers 4.62 miles of eight foot one course reinforced concrete pavement with estimated quantities of 116860 pounds reinforcing steel bars and 38255.2 square yards concrete pavement. Plans and specs may be seen at the office of County Engineer John B Nah ers in Vernon and at the State Highway Department in Austin. Proposals require a five percent certified check payable to O T Warlick County Judge Wilbarger County and must be in a sealed envelope marked Bids for the Construction of the Trfacing F A P 276 A Road in Wilbarger County. The department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive irregularities. All bids will be retained. no bid notes will be returned to bidders.
