Local Red Cross Drives Raise Funds Across City
The Red Cross in this area collected 398.70 led by a 160 donation from the Thrift Day parade sheet. A flag in the patriotic parade yielded 15 and stamps were donated. Weekly bank totals included 5.50 at Swartwood and 1.00 at Massie Shire. The Tuesday Club contributed 45 and the Thrift Friday booth brought 114.64.
