Pastor Denounces Bathing Costumes At Local Church
A Church of Christ audience heard Rev. Tom Walker urge seeking the kingdom of God from the Sermon on the Mount. He said Christ’s kingdom is attractive yet requires personal choice, with Jesus as king and the world as its territory. He urged purity, denounced dancing and public bath attire, and urged Sabbath closure of businesses, promising temporal favors to believers who seek first the kingdom and its righteousness.
