Two Scout Troops Tour Through Vernon to Yellowstone
A group of 31 Boy Scouts and their minister from Oak Grove Louisiana arrived in Vernon in two Ford trucks, en route to Yellowstone National Park. They were entertained at Hillcrest club by Bruce Gibson, E. M. Haney, Roi J. Killough, and Emory Rhoads. The 52 travelers travel in specially equipped trucks, wore full scout uniforms, and carry standard gear. They spent last night at Tows Park and plan to reach Memphisty tonight, following their regular schedule.
