County boys learn stock judging on an outing
Twenty two youths and five parents toured four farms under county agent Tisdal and W B Cook with A and M College stock expert. They judged Jersey hogs Holstein and Jersey cows Poland China pigs and Red Doll calves while summer plans for state contests were outlined. The day featured farm visits, a luncheon, and expressions of thanks to hosts Klingler Messick Bourland Minarik and McLarty for their hospitality.
