Bible Institute Planned in Wilharger County Church
A church in Wilharger county announces a Bible institute from July to August 1 under Rev. Wm. Read of the Eastist church. Courses on the Bible will be offered with sermons each evening. All workers are welcome regardless of denomination. Sessions are daily with a women’s division and Y P I activity led by Rev. Read and Rev. Rouse who will preach each night.

Texas and Oklahoma residents filed income tax returns showing total tax paid and per person figures. Dewey Lyons Body Reaches New York
Remains of Dewey Lyon a Wilbarger county boy killed in World War I arrived Hoboken New York. Parents received the news through a coastal message from a cousin and two other soldiers later confirmed his death. The body will be sent to Vernon for burial with military honors at Mast View cemetery and the 4th Infantry's Dewey Lyon will be reinterred with Company K. Young Lyon was twenty years old.
