Pioneer Wilbarger Citizen Donates to Park Fund
Lon Byars president of the Fair Association gave twenty five dollars to the Allingham park fund last week. The Federation of Clubs through its president extends thanks for the generous gift. A pioneer Wilbarger County citizen who arrived in the early 1880s, he has witnessed trackless prairies become farm fields and a city rise on the former Eagle Flat site, once sparsely populated with few improvements.
