Open minds urged by minister in Sunday sermon
Rev 8 W Hayne at First Methodist Church urged the world to seek open minds and reject narrow visions. He used Barnabas as a example of generosity and contrasted wealth with heavenly values, arguing true riches come from giving and socializing wealth, not hoarding it. He praised Barnabas for aiding the poor and supporting Paul’s Gentile mission.
