J M L Thomas of Vernon returns to Gorman as manager of Gorman Home Refining Company. The firm increases capital from 375000 to 1000000, buys Waggoner pipeline, loading racks, storage tanks, and takes over Savannah Refining Company. A 20 percent dividend is declared from a 60 day run. Thomas plans a family company in Vernon and remains there.
