Spiritual Awakening Seen by Missionaries in China
A letter from Blanche Groves in Soochow reports a rising spiritual tide across China as new schools fill, churches overflow, and hundreds confess Christ. Baptist women send aid, and Groves notes intense prayer supporting a transformative work amid idol worship and temple rebuilding. She details language training, a nine department Sunday school, new night schools for servants, and plans for a Berean class and Korean teaching. The tone emphasizes faith, prayer, and anticipated ongoing revival.
