Big Dirt Reservoir Being Constructed Near Condon Springs
The city is building a 1000 by 660 foot dirt reservoir near Condon Springs to kick off a new water system. Four workers are on site with a planned capacity of 12 to 15 million gallons, feeding an emergency tank and later concrete reservoirs. Mayor Mason notes hillside springs could fill a 400000 gallon depot in three to four days and envisions a beautified lake with a central island and pass. Overflow will drain under a railroad trestle, aiming for the best local water supply.
