Early Wheatland Plowing Tips From Oklahoma Study
Agricultural expert M A Beeson and the Oklahoma Experiment Station advise plowing soon after wheat harvest to halt weed growth and improve moisture retention. Break land about seven inches deep promptly after harvest. if pressed, disk or shallow break later while ensuring surface weeds are killed.
