Sunday closing clash in Texas theaters fuels campaign
The General Pastors Conference of Port Worth accuses amusement interests of spending heavily to defy Sunday closing laws. They claim $15,000 cost per Sunday and warn that big money and avarice threaten Texas Sabbath enforcement. Dallas ministers join Fort Worth in urging statewide action to preserve the Sunday law, arguing for moral governance and legal obedience.
