Uintah Gas Co Ordered to Cut Output by Public Commission
The public service commission ordered Uintah Gas Co to remove large users to curb monthly gas demand from about 30,000,000 cubic feet and denied a rate increase. It aims to conserve gas for residential users as supply depletes, forcing large users to switch to other fuels. The proposed substitutions and pipeline imports were rejected as impractical. The plan foresees abandoning the system when supply is exhausted.
