Wild West Rodeo At County Fair Set To Wow Crowds

The Vernal county fair announces a grand rodeo with riders from Wyoming Colorado and the Uintah Reservation arriving for the September 25 opening. Archery rope contests daily, parachute drops, a 78 piece band, and daily calf riding plus a parade and pre-event festivities highlight the schedule. Wallace Siddeway leads hay supply and transport efforts, securing four trucks and ten tons of hay at low cost. Schools and businesses will close each afternoon during the fair.

Basin Garage in Uintah was purchased by the Uintah Farm Bureau from John Siddoway for 12000 with a Federal Farm Board loan.
