County Superintendent Hebert Olsen visited a Tridell school. several men worked on cisterns to improve culinary water. Charles Merkley returned from Provo to help build a residence for Bert Smith near White Rocks canyon. Some residents joined the open game season, and Leo Christensen and Darrell Goodrich experienced car trouble near the Had Lands while returning from Vernal, awaiting Oxen Goodrich's arrival. Owen stayed in Vernal overnight, and the party returned home at sunrise.
Clyde Jarret suffered a bad leg foot injury in a deer hunt accident and uses crutches. The infant of Don Cobb Jr. was buried here from East Lake City. Parents traveling from Riverside California when the mother fell ill in Salt Lake City. Mrs Jerry Harrison improved at Roosevelt but remains in serious condition. Mrs Zack Kump was seriously ill Tuesday but better now. Treller Society Stake Bond officers visited here. Minnie M Davin and Clara Preece of Vernal attended Bishop J C tlacking’s meeting.

Edward Davis Jr and son Paul Watkins host a three act play Crooks for One Month in the Davis chapel drawing a large appreciative audience. Mrs Wilma Thompson entertained guests with games and lunch. Elder Wallace Johnson and Kart Lind spoke in sacrament meeting. Mr and Mrs Martin and baby from Oregon visit Vernal relatives. Melvin and Billie Burke travel to Altonah. Ollie Christensen family moves to Ashley ward for winter. Davis Ward Relief Society held its annual bazaar with lunch for schol children.
