New Lower Rates For All Uintah Basin Customers
Utah Power & Light will cut average electric bills about 22 percent for residential, farm, commercial and industrial customers in the Uintah Basin. The reduction, effective after November 20, follows completion of a 100 mile 138000 volt transmission line linking the Basin to the interconnected system, eliminating high cost diesel generation and aligning Basin rates with other UP&L customers in Utah.
