Utah Turkey Show set for December in Salt Lake City
The Utah Turkey Show will be held December 11 and 12 at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City. Barion O Olsen Paradige, chairman, says the event will feature open and junior divisions, with participation open to any state for the open division. Entries must be made by December 1, and entry blanks are available through the Utah Turkey Federation. Gordon Neff is named show manager and Anson B Call will head the committee in Brigham City.

Mrs. Ruple and family voyage from Avanston to Winter in 1879 80 era. They work on Ashley Creek near Dick Weltman place and PateC then stay with J Israel Clark and John Harper's mother. January 30 1880 the Ruples move to Whiterocks for construction and Indian School teaching before settling Island Park. Mrs Ruple has lived in Ashley Valley ~75 years and is mother to eight children.
