At a monthly Licus Club luncheon in Vernal officials outlined plans to acquire land near the city for an air port. L. Vernal Manila Highway Widening Extends Across Forest Route
The Brush Creek section of the Vernal Manila road is being widened by Forest Service equipment from Brush Creek to Manila. Eleven miles have been widened so far, with nine foot hills expanded to twelve feet for safer travel.
