BYU Sub high School opens path between public schools
Special to the Depresa notes Brigham Young University in Provo Utah created a Sub high School department to bridge gaps between regional public schools and high school work. It serves older youths who were not prepared for high school and not in regular grades, enabling rapid advancement. Last spring 36 students graduated and many will enter commercial high school and normal courses.

Payson Man Dies Suddenely On Way Home From Town
James Jones of Glines ward died during an attempted home operation after a ruptured condition worsened on the way home from Payson. He and his family had just moved to Vernal from Payson four days earlier, and he was about 45 years old. The Mormon Missionary Home update notes Ross Dartlett returned from a lengthy stay in several eastern cities.
