Snow Boosts Utah Sheep Range For Winter Grazing
Snow storms across Utah have eased winter range conditions for sheepmen says James A Hooper executive secretary of the Utah Wool Marketing Association. The fresh snow provides water for flocks and allows grazing on ranges previously unreachable by dry holes. Despite improved grazing some feeding of seasoned seed corn and other forage will still be needed to sustain herds through the winter.
