Vernal Opens Football Season On EB S Field In Odd Exhibition
Vernal staged an unusual football kickoff at EB S Field Saturday with Uintah County High School facing Duchesne County High School from Hoonevelt. The game ended 6 to 6 after ten minute quarters with touchdowns by Anderson for Uintah and Woolf for Duchesne. Both squads displayed roughhouse play and varied equipment, drawing sizable crowds along the Basin sidelines.
