Jack Chew Tells of 100 Years in Utah and Colorado
A fragile but rich reminiscence traces Jack Chew from Babin near Blackburn to Nephi and beyond. It covers family roots, early trade as a weaver, schooling, emigration with John Hoyle’s family, hardship after his mother's death, and a life tied to farming, policing, and cattle drives. It notes 14 children and a long partnership with Pat Lynch, and references movements to Colorado and the Pool Creek area.
