Multiple notices from Vernal Utah dated 1911 announce public land entries and intent to prove final commutation with witnesses named for Whiterocks and Taft areas. Also a sheriff sale of land in Uintah County listing a 34th section parcel in Vernal with sale set for November 20 1911 by Richard Poph, sheriff.
Multiple public notices and court actions including a sheriff sale in Vernal Utah on November 26 1911 to satisfy a judgment against Pittsburg Salt Lake Oil Company. Also a divorce summons for Thos W O Donnell and Letha Anderson and water rights notices by the State Engineer and Uintah City authorities detailing water applications and required protests.
Public sale announced for November 25, 1911 at the Uintah County Courthouse Vernal. Property includes 13 acres described by metes and bounds and 306 acres with water rights, subject to a mortgage in favor of Miller and Welle recorded in Uintah County.
Uintah County records from Vernal Utah dated October 30 1911 show the Ashley Upper Irrigation Company board reducing the fire insurance assessment from 250 to 150 dollars per share. The 14 dollar levy for splitter waters is removed and a 50 dollar per share overcharge is refunded. Delinquent assessments will be published on November 2 and December 1 1911 with stock delinquencies sold on December 4 1911.
State Engineer's Office notice from Salt Lake City dated September 30 1911 announces Thomas Labrum and William Caldwell of Moffat Utah applying to appropriate 14 cubic feet per second from Mule Hollow Wash Uintah County. Water to be diverted 1440 feet from section corner along a 5000 foot ditch for irrigation March 1 to October 31 each year on 40 acres in Section 38 Township 2 South Range 1 East. Application designated No 4047 protests allowed.
Francis Turpin of Junction City Oregon commends Chamberlains Cough Remedy as unmatched for whooping cough and effective for colds and croup. Vernal Drug Co advertises the product for sale.
Peter Bondy of South Rockwood Michigan notes attacks on his son were blunted by kidney medicine Electile Jitters after six bottles. He claims the treatment eased backache tiredness nervousness and increased appetite warning that untreated kidney trouble may lead to dropsy diabetes or Wright's disease. One bottle costs 56 cents at Vernal Drug Co.
An old Vera Vernal advertisement features N D Ely of Benjam Ohio praising Lucklens Salve for curing a four year ulcer and promoting Dr King’s New Life Pills as a remedy for constipation and liver trouble. The copy emphasizes cures for burns boils sores pimples and piles and cites Vernal Drug Co as the seller.
