Beth Hunting Weds Dee Jay Pack In Napless Chapel
Miss Beth Hunt ing became the bride of Dee Jay Pack in a candlelit ceremony May 12 in the Naples ward chapel. The bride, daughter of Mrs Robert Hunt ing, wore a floor length white gown with Chantilly lace, a jeweled tiara, and a pink and white bouquet. Attendants wore pink and white, with flower girls and a four tier pink and white wedding cake. Fern Richens and Nellie Richens sang. A reception followed in the Relief Society room with pink and white decor and daisies and roses.

UHS Seniors Honored At Reception At Stake Center
Uintah High School faculty Women's League hosted a reception for seniors and their parents at the Stake Center Monday evening. About 200 guests attended, greeted by Principal Glen Oward and committee chairs. The event featured rose centerpiece, pink tapers, catering by multiple hosts, piano solos by Miss Janese Tanner and Mrs. Louis Fife, vocal numbers by Mrs. Wallace Trottier and Laurence Cooper, and a mixed quartet. Prizes for bridge were awarded to Mrs. Ray Pease and Lucille Johnson, with several attendees listed as guests of honor and helpers.

On Friday evening May 13 at the Hotel Vernal a bridge and bingo party was given by Mrs. Ray Wooster and Mrs. L. A. Miracle honoring Mrs. B. McCormick who will soon move from Vernal to Carmi Illinois. The centerpiece was a small moving van with miniature flower pots traveling bag and hat box. Center table displayed handkerchiefs from twenty eight guests. Guest favors were miniature traveling bags with mints and nuts. A dessert of angel food cake ice cream and strawberries followed. Pictures were taken by Mr Thorne. Mrs. McCormick received a corsage of white carnations and a china cup and saucer as a going away gift from her hosts.
