Notices announce intent to finalise a land claim for Nalion of Ouray Utah with witnesses named. also two water right applications in Uintah and Wasatch counties for springs and the Utah River to supply power and irrigation, with protests and deadlines for filing.
State Engineers Office Salt Lake City Utah reports George E Young of Vernal Utah applied for two and a half cubic feet per second of water from Whiterocks Creek in Uintah County. Water will be diverted near Section 6 Township 1 south Range 1 east and conveyed 8.0 miles to irrigate 866 acres in Sections 9 10 11 and 16 Township 6 south Range 19 east. Protests due within 30 days after publication.
Uintah County Utah through the Board of County Commissioners will offer for sale by tax deeds in separate parcels at the county courthouse Vernal at 10 oclock AM on Monday May 23 1910. The sale proceeds daily until all parcels are sold and the county clerk will deliver to purchasers the state and county title free of encumbrances. Descriptions include multiple parcels in townships and ranges with acreages and boundaries.
