Trudy D. Leeper daughter of Mr and Mrs Ivan F Leeper of 419 E Main Vernal has finished the first phase of Air Force basic training at Lackland AFB Texas. She is a Women in the Air Force member selected for technical training as a medical specialist at Greenville AFB Mississippi. Leeper a 1963 graduate of Basin High School Wyoming.
Eight members of the Dinah Dairy Club attended the Altamont livestock show Friday. DeAnn Hendricks won dairy fitting end showmanship, Brent Pitt earned grand champion in the fat pig class, and the group collected other honors. Club leaders listed are Mrs. Don Pitt, Mrs. Brett Hendricks, and Mrs. Nell Caldwell.
On Tuesday April 21 Uintah High School hosted a student production of Sleeping Beauty at Uintah High School. Audiences enjoyed the performance and praised the young cast for bringing the fairy tale to life.
