Vernal Church Official Injured In Utah Auto Crash
Assistant Vernal postmaster Jease A. Haws and Vernal counselor in the Vintah Stake presidency suffered a fractured neck vertebrae and severe brain concussion in a Sunday night collision. Two other Vernal men, Mark Allen and Nyle Merkley, sustained shock and minor injuries. The crash occurred at Fifth West and Main when Haws northbound car collided with Merkley’s eastbound vehicle.

Local Dairy Wins Highest Award at State Meet
