Private Neibaur earns Conspicuous Gallantry in France
Thomas C Neibaurr private of Company M 167th Infantry from Bugar City Idaho earned the Distinguished Service Cross for actions near Lanures et-dt Georges France on October 16 1918. Despite wounds he kept automatic fire killing eleven enemies and capturing eleven prisoners at close quarters aiding a counter attack in view of his battalion. He is nephew of Judge Chas W Nibley of Salt Lake.
