The Ashley Valley community marked the golden wedding of Sterling D Colton and his wife in the Stake Tabernacle with a large gathering. The event featured floral tributes, excerpts from family diaries, music, and speeches celebrating decades of pioneer service in Vernal and Ashley Valley.
A list of weekly Uintah Railway passengers and locals visiting Vernal and nearby towns including John McCook, James Ho Fawlks, Nellie Smith, Mrs Byron A Kimball, Mr and Mrs W G King, Mr and Mrs Powers, Homer Ford family, and others. The notice also notes subscribers who have not paid and jokes about collecting payments.
Ashley Valley residents learn that Willis Denhardt will not be seen at the Vernal Drug soon. He denies illness and says he will visit often, expressing strong ties to Ashley Valley and its people. Denhardt plans frequent returns despite moving on from the local shop.

The Vernal Express says it must raise costs and starts new rates from April 1 1920 advertising at 80 cents per inch and non contracted ads at 50 cents per inch. May 1 subscription rises to 2.50 per year payable in advance.
