Jensen 4 H Club Plans Year of Livestock Show Activities
At a Jensen Bettery Livestock 4 H Club meeting held Saturday March 14 at the Ross Snow home members planned the year under president Boyd Snow and reporter David Murray. The schedule includes tours starting March 30 visiting club projects such as 36 steers 8 hogs and 5 lambs with demonstrations by Murray Curfew and Curfew on fitting fat cattle and lambs. Events run through October with judging contests camp attendance and record-keeping culminating in the County 4 H Club achievement program and officers named Boyd Snow Deanna Murray Connie Dudley and David Murray.

He studies livestock and meat industry, visits deck yards, attends a major league game, and is active in Black and Bridle Club and livestock judging. Funeral Honors Matilde LeBeau at Roosevelt Ward Chapel
Funeral services for Mrs. Mandé E. LeBeau 63 were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Roosevelt 2nd Ward chapel. Bishop Arvin Bellon officiated with music by Jeanne Summers and Lacy Fitzgerald. Interment was in Roosevelt cemetery. Mrs. LeBeau, born September 14, 1893 in Upton Utah, died at her Riverside California home of heart ailment. She is survived by her husband Joseph A. LeBeau of Riverside, six sons, two daughters, twelve grandchildren, seven siblings, and other relatives.

Last Friday AVIHS students watched color adventure pirate film with Errol Flynn and Maureen O'Hara, then So Dear to My Heart. Primary elections for next year student body officers are set for next Tuesday. Thursday is a no school day for parents visiting. a full program hosts visiting parents while students rest. Friday night features Date Night with dances, games, and box lunches for dads and daughters.

Uintah FFA Chapter will travel to Union High School for the district FFA public speaking and parliamentary procedure contest on March 20. Uintah will compete with Altamont and Union chapters. Six members were selected for the parliamentary procedure team: Clair Datty, John McCoy, Mark Batty, Larry Cook, Mervin Dudley, and Keith Merkley. Clair Batty is the public speaker. The district winner advances to the state convention on March 20 and 36. Uintah will send two delegates to represent the chapter. The next year's president is Set Merkley.
