J R Douglass, manager of Uintah Gas Co, purchased half interest from Paul Stock of Cody Wyoming. Stock remains president as new officers will be elected. Uintah Gas began in Vernal 1929 with a ten mile main line delivering 2 million cubic feet daily. The venture, amid the 1929 crash, paid taxes totaling 574,741 in three years.

W. B. Chase Hurt In Auto Crash Near Myton
W B Chase sustained severe head and chest injuries when his car veered into a bar pit on a snowy stretch near Myton. Druce Maxwell, a nearby service station operator, witnessed the crash. Funeral Services Held At Tridell for Pearl Darling
Funeral services for Pearl Darling 12 daughter of Mrs Sarah E Darling were held in the Tridell ward chapel. J Ray McKee conducted. Pearl died of pneumonia Sunday afternoon at Roosevelt hospital. Speakers included Principal Washburn P H Q Gederich Glenn Mars hill and C B Bartlett. Interment followed in Vernal cemetery. She is survived by her widowed mother and brothers Constant and Theodore Darling of Park City, Ruby Jenkins of Idaho Mable Earl and Orval Darling of Tridel.
