Two Bond Plans Considered By Jey Ulatah School Board
The Jey Ulatah School District discussed two bond proposals at a regular board meeting. One plan would clear current debt and fund $1,000,000 in new building projects over nine years with a 10 mill levy, to be completed by 1963, while the other would use an 8 mill levy to finish earlier, with district evaluations around 1983 and 14,000,000 in later years. Members Ann King and Ruth Waslem of the Citizens Building Survey Committee reported cooperation with the board. A state building survey is not yet providing figures, and a special meeting is set to inspect schools.
