Bonanza Troop Wins Buckskin Award in 1950 Uintah Contest
Bonanza Troop 243 under M Mea directed the presentation of the advance buckskin for the Uintah District Advancement Contest. Maeser 281 led by Milt Bearleag placed second and Ashley Ward Troop 238 led by Dale Thacker placed third. Buckskin prize donated by Standard Saddle Tree Co. of Vernal and painted with a scout emblem by Mrs. Robert Turner.
