Turkish Workers Leave for Coronation Duties in England
Four Turkish men who worked on the La Grande Junction Railway between here and Nanceastra resigned after three months. They will travel to England for King George VI’s coronation on June 22, then report back to the United States and resume work along the line east of Grand Junction. Their foreman praises them as the best laborers he has had.
