An old time retail notice from the Vernal Trading Store advertises drastic discounts on women and children's undergarments dresses waists corsets and nightgowns as well as men’s hats underwear pants gloves and socks plus fabrics curtains and accessories with many items halved or near half price and some items reduced to cents.
Vernal area ad sheet lists corduroy pants from 2.50 to 450 at Vernal Trading Store, belts, underwear, dresses, parasols, wash belts, skirts, shoes, and men’s wear with prices. Mentions libraries, CO OP sales, hay delivery, ice cream orders, and a Lost-Ladies watch reward. Includes agent notices for Deseret News and local ads for G. E Adams and Calder Bros. IcE Co.
Store advertises a line of lawn fabric and summer garments with prices from 10c to 20c per unit. Sets out options including 6 lede, 12 1-2c, and 15c items for warm weather wear.

Born in Iowa the Ennia Bros report long use of Chamberlain's Coke Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy made at Des Maines. They credit the remedy with saving the writer's life in El Paso and say they have introduced it into Narcoossee Florida where it sells well through Vernal Drug Co.
The Naples ward man Taylor C Lyons married a Chicago widow through a matrimonial agency. She left after a week. Lyons won a divorce for desertion. He admitted paying her Chicago expenses to Vernal. The report also notes Fourth of July plans with a parade and entertainments, plus local notes on residents and snowfall delaying mill work.
Notice of assessment 3600 per share on capital stock levied by the board at Vernal Utah April 24 1908 payable to Treasurer Geo A Davis by June 1 1908. Unpaid stock becomes delinquent and may be sold at public auction June 20 1908 at 2 pm at the Secretary office Vernal Utah.
