Ambarrassment of that dis S pight at Harrisburg
Ptee and Wyn use mint juleps during a strained work session in Harrisburg, then Kitty is invited to Wyns mother’s home for an overnight visit. The narrative recalls their close ties, work tensions, and plans about Kitty’s future, including debates about a bank job and moving toward Jersey. The piece hints at social tensions and race context in the work and personal dynamics.
