State County bridge over Green River completed at Jensen Utah
The State and County bridge at Jensen Utah ready for inspection completes a cross river link between Eastern Utah and Western Colorado. Officials led by G M Oliver and Hugh Snow view the 508 foot steel concrete structure built with state county and private funds and bow with a banquet that could not be served on the windy bridge. The project reduces ferry costs for sheep and cattle and improves mail service and interstate travel. Two Jensen residents Mrs Albert Snow and Mrs G M Oliver cross the bridge carrying Old Glory the first crossing honor goes to them.
