Vernal reports the Ukiah Stake Academy owns seven acres for two new school buildings one block west of Tabercrush block. Architect Mr Maést of Salt Lake is to review plans for a $25 000 building this summer. fundraising committees and a subscription drive will invite money material and labor pledges with phased redemption. George Cakes donated a 30 foot front lot between 1st and 2nd West and Uintah Avenue and 1st Booth St.

Sunday and Monday officers fined two violators of liquor laws. AJ McClanahan, arrested Sunday by Night Marshal Adam Erickson for intoxication, resisted and spent the night. fined 7 dollars. On Monday he paid 300 dollars. Five companions brought to Vernal from Ashley for liquor possession. Justice Leo n Thorne fined Arrowsmith 30 dollars. companions discharged for lack of evidence.

On guilty pleas the delinquents were each fined the minimum $10,000 in Justice Leo C Thorne's court.
